AIReS Increases Business and Travel Expense Rate

Global Relocation Leader Raises Rates to Meet New IRS Standards

Pittsburgh, PA - September 12, 2005 - AIReS recently announced an increase in allowable employee business and travel expense rates. The new business rate is $0.485 per mile (up from $0.405) and the moving/relocation rate is now $0.22 per mile (up from $0.15).

This adjustment has been made in response to a recent IRS ruling regarding travel reimbursement rates. Effective September 1st, 2005 the IRS has increased the allowance for both reimbursed business and moving expense travel. This most recent tax change should save a company approximately $50 per move.
